Christmas Eve | December 24

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate the birth of our Savior, then look no further. All are welcome at St. Demetrios Church! We’ll participate in Divine Liturgy, and finish the evening with a hot cocoa reception, Christmas treats, and caroling for everyone in our Church hall!

With Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday this year, our services will take place as follows:

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 24th

MORNING 8:30 AM Vespers | 9:00 AM Liturgy (of St. Basil) for the Nativity of our Lord

EVENING 5:30 PM Orthros | 6:30 PM Liturgy (of St. John Chrysostom) for the Nativity of our Lord

We will not be holding services on December 25th.

When should I plan to arrive?

We recommend arriving 10-20 minutes early so you can find your seat and prepare for worship.

What about my kids?

Our Christmas Eve service is open to the whole family, so we will not be offering childcare. We do have a few places you can go if you need to step out with a small child. One of our greeters will be happy to show you the way!

Will there be refreshments?

Most definitely! We’ll have hot cocoa, and Christmas treats for everyone!

Can I invite people to come with me?

Please do! We love meeting new people!
