THE LADIES OF

ST. FOTINI

ABOUT

An Orthodox women’s group, dedicated to caring for the Church and its needs. The group is named after Saint Photini, who lived in first-century Palestine and was the woman whom Christ met at Jacob’s well in Samaria, as recorded in the Gospel according to John (4:4-26). Transformed by her encounter with Christ, Saint Photini and her entire family were baptized by the Apostles and went on to become fervent evangelists of the early Church.

A PARTNER IN FAITH & SERVICE

This group embodies her spirit of faithful witness and active ministry. Following St. Photini’s example of service to the early Church, the women of our parish volunteer their time and talents to care for the needs of the Church and community.
